run upstairs to faint again
hold your tongue defy them too
just don't be late for the end of the world now
well you came again to break the law
tender lady know it all
break a leg and you guffaw
jumping straight into the maw
don't be late to the end of this
i guess they took your name as well
you took it with a smile and fell aloft in grace
is this what you're really called?
does it matter to you, to you at all?
just don't be late for the end of the world now
well you came again to break the law
tender lady know it all
break a leg and you guffaw
jumping straight into the maw
don't be late to the end of this
too close to home once more
is this really what you wanted?
to be afraid and be hunted?
and is this really what you care for?
to be scared and be careful?
If there ever was a timely album to sum up the United States in 2020, this is it. Elements of black metal, hymnals, call-and-response, sampled news audio, and Manuel's amazing voice come together to form a beautifully tortured sound.
The term 'avant-garde' is rightfully earned with every moment of this EP. mistermunn

An acquired taste, yes. But one well worth acquiring. Grimmrobe
